This will be my last farewell piece and send off for my friend and brother @sidhu_moosewala - I was going to share this on the 11th June, being Sidhu’s birthday but last week taught us that time waits for nobody. So here it is... • If you see an ੴ in the flame then you’re seeing right. There is one God and Vaheguru has a mysterious way of telling us the plan rather than the other way round. It’s hard not to question it and just puts us all in a loop. This week being one of the most heaviest for our community and world. We all saw the tragedy of two parents mourning their only son. We saw Sidhus parents as our own, let it stay that way. • With that said, I hope as the rest of the year unfolds and what true or false comes from it, we continue to think of Sidhu’s parents and celebrate their son rather than mourn him and sharing horrific videos and pictures of his passing. Let’s remember that their only son has passed and with that said means we respect their family name now since Sidhu can’t. • Not all of Sidhu’s music may have have hit a chord or emotion with you but that doesn’t mean we have to speak ill of the brother. Just like any art, not everything is done for an audience - more so the heart. For those that do appreciate him and his now continued legacy, he’s left behind for us an immense amount of art, how fortunate are we.
