My homies and I just dropped a charity compilation in honor of my dear friend, fellow artist and student, Dan McHugh aka @djschmultz! We lost him to cancer earlier this year and wanted to honor him as best we could - all proceeds from this release be going to @cityofhope cancer research department. Musical and personally, Dan was a true inspiration to so many of us. He always had such an incredible positive outlook and was one of the most fearless artists we’ve ever met. Schmultz always presented the most authentic unfiltered version of himself in his music and that ethos of being yourself is what unifies all the amazing music on this comp. Many artists here were inspired by Dan to record voices on (in some cases, for the very first time). You’ll hear care free, smile-inducing bangers as well as deep emotive songs. It’s an incredible collection of tunes and we want to thank all the amazing artists for contributing, big love to @benny_bridges for the graciously donating the beautiful album artwork and thank all of you for listening! RIP Dan. We love you and will never forget you ❤️
