One of my go-to lunches is a salad loaded with veggies, healthy fats, and lean protein! 🥬🫒🐟 This Greek-inspired salad is fiber- and micronutrient-rich, so your gut bacteria will thank you 🦠 Fresh leafy greens make up the base, topped with cucumber, cherry tomatoes, olives, and red onion. Olive oil is a great source of healthy monounsaturated fats, and the sardines provide loads of omega-3 fatty acids, both of which are excellent for promoting brain health. The sardines, chickpeas, and nutritional yeast provide plenty of protein to help you stay energized and focused, as well as B vitamins which may enhance mood. Finally, studies have shown that black pepper and rosemary may help to improve focus and cognition. Feel free to swap out ingredients to fit your preferences! You can swap out the sardines for another omega-3-rich fish or the nutritional yeast for feta cheese (if you consume dairy). What ingredients do you put in your go-to salad?
