👬🥹Mike’s first tattoo! Matching ones to commemorate our marriage, our honeymoon, the rest of forever. 🥺 (featured alongside our new wedding rings we bought in Bali!) We both got ‘for forever’ tattooed on our ankle. For years (and still today), whenever Mike and I want to live in a single moment, we remind ourselves we have forever together and we grossly tell each other in this cute little voice ‘it’s for forever.’ It helps us appreciate the now for all that it is while still getting us giddily excited about all that’s to come in our lives and relationship. We were in Bali laying out on the beach together on our last day, talking about how beautiful of a honeymoon we were fortunate enough to have. A local stranger, turned-friend, sitting next to us overheard and started a conversation. He was getting a tattoo that night and invited us along. It was completely spontaneous but Mike and I knew we had to get one ourselves. We wanted something meaningful to our trip but still an overall homage to our relationship.
