Hey friend! There are quite a few new faces around here this summer. Let me reintroduce myself, so you get to know a little bit more about me. You also you may have followed me by accident, so let’s eliminate any confusion. 😉 - First and foremost, I’m a Charleston, South Carolina-livin’, Christian singer-songwritin’, worship lead in’, Jesus-lovin’ child of God! I’ll post about music and adventures on the road! - I’m the worship director at @onefellowship in Charleston, and have been here for 6 months now! What a joy it has been! - I spent the last 12 years in Nashville, TN working in full time music and church ministry in A LOT of different ways! You can catch me partnering with Lifeway and Young Life, and other various church and para-church ministries! - I grew up in a household of music! We all traveled and sang together! My mom and dad raised us in the church, so gospel and worship music was all I knew growing up. Daddy threw in some Motown every now and then! Sometimes music captures the heart in a way simple words can’t. Music tells a full story through melody and I love it. What a gift Jesus gave us through song. - You’ll hear me talk about the loss of my mom and dad, my battle with mental health, and the raw reality of life! I think the ONE thing we all have in common is “pain”. We all know what it feels like to some degree. Loss, defeat, broken dreams, change...let’s talk about it ALL and how JESUS MEETS US right where we are. EVERY time. Jesus is bigger than the problems, and close enough to hold us through ours.
