San Mateo Rio Hondo is a 2.5 hour drive from Oaxaca city. We stayed at @campanariohotelspa. We did a 5 mile hike amidst the clouds and rivers. My husband and I had a transformative temezcal. We had great food and conversations with my parents next to the fire. I saw clouds like I never seen in my life. I felt the rain fall on my face as I hugged the world.
