Product development is one of my favorite parts of my job at MAKE. This was my first time going to the lab and working with the chemists on shade matching for color, which is fascinating and definitely an art. We spent a week with our chemists getting the powder blush perfect; looking at multiple versions of shades, making sure the undertones were correct on all skin tones, balancing the color payoff & blend-ability and making sure that the pigment load didn’t effect the soft microsuede texture of the powders. The result: talc-free, highly-pigmented, ultra-soft powder blush that’s buildable and blends seamlessly into skin. Can’t wait for you to try them xC
