I’m gonna go on a little rant about some thoughts I have been having recently and I thought I would share them on here. This world is a crazy place and with our generation it is only getting crazier like we are literally living in a robot world and I believe it can be super overwhelming sometimes (or all the time). I feel we all don’t give ourselves enough slack these days with modern pressures and modern expectations. I don’t wanna go too deep into anything but my point is that please cut yourself some slack at times and don’t waste your time focusing on negative energy and surrounding yourself with things that don’t make you happy. I have found myself do this countless times and the end goal is that you only damage yourself. Mental health is rising among young people and this generation due to the pressures around us and it can be difficult and even feel impossible to find an escape. Sometimes when you wake up the dark cloud can be over you but always remember the sun is behind it. Please look after your energy everyone as it’s the most important thing in the world. I decided to make STONE’s purpose about being ‘the underground voice for the lost youth’ and this isn’t because I think it sounds cool or because it brings the band clout. We say this because us 4 young individuals really do care about the future of this world and the people growing up around us. We want nothing more than for the people of tomorrow to feel empowered and strong in this world. I will forever push for mental health awareness to become a medical priority and for it to stop being treated like a burden. I am constantly inspired by how strong people can be but it’s easy to not see that when negativity is so prevalent. I was thinking about it today and I kinda realised that Love is a power and Negativity is a noise. Please remember that everyone and always speak out when life becomes hard.
