September is Deaf Awareness Month and I’m sharing with you that I’m a Chef and I’m Deaf. My Deafness has never prevented me from doing what I love which is cooking and connecting with people. When I was a kid, my deafness was something I was ashamed of because it made me feel less than but over the years, I learned to love all the things that I am.
