At this age (ech hem ...37 as of yesterday😝) , birthdays can seem like just another day. But truthfully, since 2005, the day has been anything but. On my 21st birthday, I went into labor (boo! no wine for me 😩😅) But I got over it because the next morning, I was blessed with greatest birthday gift imaginable, the gift of motherhood. 🥺 I feel beyond blessed to be called mommy by “little” girl right here, my first real love, my mini,-me, my CRAZY out of her mind, best friend. Happy birthday 16th birthday Adalyn! Even though you drive me nuts daily. You do it in the best way possible and I know one day (not today) I’ll miss it 😅 Thanks for never being weirded out by sharing your special day with me. 🥰😘 Love, mommy. PS this is my second mother daughter shoot with Adalyn. And they are turning out to be my all time favorite shoots. Even still, this last one was rough for your girl. Note to self at 3 weeks postpartum, do not, I repeat do NOT do a shoot in heels or when your baby is breastfeeding every 2 hours. Whew! But we made it, barely.
