Do you brush style before or after products? Here's why I prefer to brush style after ⤵️ 💡 For those of you, like me, that struggle with frizz, flyaways, root frizz, or wild grays, evenly applying your gel is crucial. If you are applying your cream first, then doing your styling, and then trying to glaze or gel in, you're really only getting the surface layers of your hair. If your hair is thick and high density, you should definitely be sectioning your hair for even coverage of gel. My hair is low-density, but I still prefer sectioning so I can more precisely style my hair. If you prefer a more un-tamed look and like frizz for volume, then I totally get why this method may not be for you. I recently posted a youtube video about how to reduce root frizz, because after recovering from hair loss, I have a ton of short hairs that always want to stick out on display 🤣 The root frizz is just out of control if I don't do more precise styling and apply gel all the way to the roots. Root frizz likes to poke out from the underside layers, so simply glazing product on the surface and scrunching won't cut it for me. The reason I love to brush style is it smooths the rough texture of my coarse areas, helps reduce frizz, and tucks frizz away into curl clumps. Which method do you prefer?
