✨My favorite book of December✨ Choosing a favorite this month was so hard! With multiple 5-star reads, I had a fantastic month of reading. But when I think about a book that will stick with me for a *long* time, it’s definitely this one. I read this book in the beginning of the month, but I have been thinking about it ever since. It’s raw and intense and dark (check your triggers 🖤) and beautiful. This one had me sobbing - and I mean ✨SOBBING✨ - at 2am. My friend @Ally Bookish Babe 📖✨ was a real one for warning me not to read it until my lash lift had set, because I definitely would’ve ruined these lashes. 🤣 The craziest part? It wasn’t even the FMC, Violet’s story that did it - it was her grandmother’s. You have to read it to understand, but... phew. That last letter? It got me good. 😭 Violet’s story was beautiful and engaging, and Kade was everything I could have wanted in an MMC / book boyfriend...but Violet’s grandmother’s story? That’s the one that will haunt me. Maybe forever. I loved this one!
