Its name comes from the fact that it is located in a deep valley in the Andes Mountains, about 40 miles (60 kilometers) from the city of Ushuaia and surrounded by forest. The lake’s shores are partly made up of stone walls and a scarce presence of aquatic vegetation. I documented the life and work of @baqueanostdf in southern Patagonia.
