Be a Holiday Hosting Hero! Your guests will appreciate this simple and practical table setting. Start with a dinner plate, add a soup and/or salad bowl. The napkin goes on the left. You can place the forks either on top of the napkin or just to the left. Next comes the knife, set on the right side of the plates, followed by a soup spoon, and tea spoon. AND of course, no table setting would be complete without a DESSERT FORK! While this can be a specialty utensil, most folks these days simply place another "salad" fork in the middle, above the plates.
