if you want extensions but are worried about things like — “How do I even wash these?” “Do I have to blow dry my hair?” “What products am I supposed to use??” this one’s for you — washing with extensions is just like washing without them, only you’re working in between or around your rows (promise, it’s not as intimidating as it might sound!) to make wash days a breeze, do these things — 1. Brush your hair BEFORE you get in the shower and get it wet, tangles only get worse on wet hair 2. Focus on scrubbing your scalp all around and inbetween your rows with the pads of your fingers 3. You don’t have to be “fairy-handed” but do be mindful not to snag your extensions or put extra tension on them 4. Use a conditioning treatment instead of regular conditioner on your extensions 5. Make sure your washing alllll the product out of your hair — especially from the top of your row where all your wefts meet 6. Ring extra water out in the shower and just scrunch your hair with a towel after 7. Let that sh*t air dry — it won’t ruin your extensions I promise! You can always finish with a blow dryer after 30+ minutes of air drying but don’t go straight in with your blow dryer— it’s not necessary and takes way longer! who else loves wash days?!
