This liquid soap-based activity stimulates several of your child’s senses. You’ll need just three ingredients: 🧼 Liquid soap 🌈 Food coloring 💧Water Simply add some soap, food coloring, and a small amount of water to a blender pitcher. Blend on low speed until the mixture forms a thick, fluffy foam. Transfer the foam to a large waterproof bin and offer it to your child. ✋As they reach into the bin of colored foam, their eyes and hands capture visual and tactile information that is stored in their brain. 🧠 Give your little one a mixing spoon and a cup of water, so they can discover how stirring in more water thins the foam and dilutes its color. To encourage open-ended pretend play, add some toys, like sea creature figurines 🐠, and for fine motor practice, provide containers for scooping, and pouring, like the Nesting Stacking Dripdrop Cups from The Inspector Play Kit. ✨ @emilylivgreen included the pouring and measuring equipment from The Investigator Play Kit’s Liquid Lab. Please supervise your child at all times during this activity and safely dispose of the water and foam when they’re finished playing. #ToddlerActivities #SensoryPlay #Lovevery
