I'm grateful to be acknowledged alongside a global community of innovators and thought-leaders doing their part to transform our societies. I’m energized to show up and show out for the most impacted communities, all of us who share a collective vision for a more equitable and sustainable future. At @100isnow, we are disrupting the philanthropic sector to address power and build equity in the climate justice movement. Bloomberg New Economy’s recognition of my work and the climate justice movement is not something I take lightly—it shows that industry leaders are paying attention and recognizing that Black, Indigenous, immigrant, women, and People of Color communities have been leading and innovating intersectional solutions yesterday, today, and tomorrow. And these are the solutions that will create a better future for everyone. My leadership and vision have everything to do with the leaders that came before me, the grassroots leaders that I organized with in Los Angeles, and the living legends that I am still learning from today.
