As a mom, I have to be fully present for my children, so I make sure they grow up into fine young men. As an employee, I have to be fully present so my work product doesn’t fall behind. I have to give 100% to both roles and finding the balance between these full time jobs (because motherhood is definitely a full time job) has been challenging. With the added commitment of breastfeeding and pumping 24/7, there are times where it feels like my world is crashing down on me. But you know what? I do it for them. When they smile at me and look at me with hearts in their eyes, I know that I am doing something right and that we will get through this.
