Need a tasty, warm beverage to keep you warm this winter?? This delicious HOT COCOA recipe by @velmade_ is keto-friendly, dairy-free, and without all the unnecessary added sugar!
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups almond milk
2 tbsp Monk fruit sweetener (I used @lakanto)
2 tbsp unsweetened Cocoa powder
1/4 tsp Vanilla
1/4 cup Keto chocolate chips (I used @lilys_sweets)
Optional: non-dairy coconut whipped cream (I used @reddiwip), 2 tbsp keto chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. In a small saucepan, mix almond milk with monkfruit sweetener and cocoa powder.
2. Heat this mixture over medium heat.
3. Once it boils, remove from heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla extract. Continue whisking until smooth.
4. Pour into mugs and top with coconut whipped cream. Drizzle chocolate on top by melting chocolate chips in the microwave for 15 seconds at a time.
