A few years ago I remember sitting under the most beautiful night sky in Arizona. The moon gave a soft glow as it peaked slowly over the mountain and rose. I saw that moon with my dad sitting next to me, just a year before he passed away. The two of us were always the night owls in our family, and I made this piece in honor of him.
