Our Kings family has experienced a loss that affects so many in our program and the local lacrosse community as a whole. @zander.hattersley was a King going back to our 1st year...some of these photos are from the Kings 1st time playing up North where this group went undefeated. Zander tore his ACL in this tournament and the prayer huddle was for him. Zander was an amazing teammate, player, leader, friend and soul...he was the player that is the glue of a team. Zander was a dear friend to some of our current coaches and a role model to some of our older players. If you played elite lacrosse in Cherokee County with players from the 2021 class, you knew Zander Hattersley and you definitely wanted him on your team instead of the team you were going up against. As our 25s carried part of him this weekend by wearing a Z on their helmet at the PLC championships, Zander's light will be carried on by those who were lucky enough to know him. We ask in the coming weeks and months you pray for Zander's family and those who were close to him...his absence will be felt by so many. Rest easy 42❤️🕊
