Carolina Cavalli / @bluemermaidmilk) AMANDA follows the titular character, an eccentric and wealthy and 20-something who tries to reconnect with a childhood friend, though feelings of reconciliation might not be mutual... While there’s been plenty of buzz around “Amanda” and Cavalli – she has already established herself as a writer-director on TV shows “Mi Hanno Sputato nel Milkshake” and Netflix’s “Zero” – the film enjoyed its international premiere at Venice a few days ago, and has quickly become one of the most talked-about debuts at the festival.
