Very glad to have been part of the exhibition ‘With a View’ which closes this Saturday. The paintings I exhibited come from a series called ‘A Remarkable Cataract’ from 2018 and are informed by archival images of the construction of the Poulaphouca dam and the Shannon scheme. They’ve kept me company for a long time in bedrooms and short lived studios so it has been really wonderful finally seeing them exhibited alongside such beautiful sculptures, garments and performances.
