The other day I got a call to say Ive been awarded a I.H.F Icon award for my contribution to our industry and will receive the award on October the 9th at the Irish hairdressers federation gala hall and awards night To say I’ve be blown away is a under statement .since the call I’ve been reflecting back on my career and so thankful for the people I’ve met through out . The challenges I’ve faced and the life it has granted me . It’s taken a few days for all this to settle in as I never in my life thought that my career inspired others , I never thought that a award like this I would be considered for . I love cutting hair , I love the industry , I love the people in it , I do it cause I love it and I say I do something that isn’t a job it’s something I love , I feel very lucky , thank you to @irishhairfed xxxxx Im honoured and thrilled to receive this award Love peace and hair grease John keegan xxx
