Before we opened Majordomo we discussed and stated that one of our long-term goals was to put down roots in Los Angeles and begin a new family tree. We wanted to begin a lineage where cooks and various hospitality professionals would grow with us, but also inevitably, move on to other paths and find their own way to hopefully even greater heights while also bringing a little bit of that Domo DNA and swag along with them. The goal remains the same and while we still have a long way to go and won't really ever stop trying to achieve it, last Monday it made me smile to see our tree start to push up out of the ground a little bit. Lots of old, familiar, and missed faces in the house to enjoy skewers together and kick back after what has been a very hard year.
