I’m crying because if you would’ve tried to tell me 11 months ago that I would be here, I wouldn’t have believed you. I’m crying because I used to believe doing what was best for myself was selfish so I refused to heal. BUT I realize it’s not. I promised to use my voice after losing my son stillborn and I didn’t. NOW I AM. Now I am reminding people of the importance everyday to prioritize their mental health, to know they’re not alone in the fight, and to encourage and support their growth.
