We threw a backyard hibachi dinner to celebrate my husband’s residency graduation with his classmates, and it was honestly so much fun. One of the guys brought a portable hibachi grill and basically turned our backyard into a mini teppanyaki show with jokes, flying shrimp, sake squirting, the whole deal. We were cracking up the entire time. Everyone got to pick two types of meat (I did steak and chicken 10/10), and it came with fried rice and stir-fry veggies. We all set up our own little tables, chairs, and utensils, and then just sat back and let the grill master handle the rest. It felt like dinner and a comedy show rolled into one. It was such a fun and low-stress way to celebrate. Easy cleanup, great food, hilarious memories.
