Madrid-based designer Eva Longoria has helmed some of the @rockwellgroup's most impressive projects in Europe, including residences, restaurants, and hotels. Each of her designs is informed by the unique character of the location. For a recent redesign of the Gran Hotel Inglés in Madrid, a cultural landmark opened in the 1800s that hosted iconic guests from Henri Matisse to Virginia Woolf, Eva and her team examined newspaper clippings from earlier eras to determine how to engage the hotel's history in its present design. Endearing details include the wallpaper in guestroom closets, which features vintage hotel postcards. For Nobu Barcelona, Eva fused Spanish and Japanese aesthetics, with nods to kintsugi and Gaudí, among other influences. Welcome to the DLN, Eva! 📸 Eric Laignel, @ricardolabougle, & @amayaaznar
