La Super Planche des Belles Filles strikes again! While the men took on this climb early in their event, the women will end their 8th and final stage of racing up the roughly 7km climb that features a gravel sector and pitches of 20% and 24%. This is the first and only summit finish in the @letourfemmes, and it’s preceded by the equally formidable Ballon d'Alsace. Depending on the gaps in the General Classification going into this stage, it could decide the race or be a last opportunity for an intrepid rider to claim a big stage win. Either way, it’s a must-watch and promises exciting racing from start to finish. The majority of the women’s leaderboard for La Super Planche was set in the past few months, including QOM holder @clara_koppenburg of Team Cofidis, who rode it in 26:59. She also claimed the QOM on the Ballon d'Alsace during a ride that covered almost all of the course for Stage 8.
