🎉 What a glorious night at the 49th Annual @daytomeemmys! As first-time nominees, we were also given the honor of kicking off the live show as presenters with a fun gag honoring fellow PBSers & Lifetime Achievement Award Winners @thisoldhouse. Then, we went on to hand out 4 more Emmy statues, including to @penguintowntv & @kellyclarksonshow! 💖🏆🙌🏆💖 After a delicious plant-based 🌱(yes, vegan!) dinner at the LEED Gold Certified Pasadena Convention Center we enjoyed two more hours of awards, waiting with baited breath for our category to be announced-Outstanding Host of a Daytime Program-Conscious Living’s first Emmy nomination.🫣 Though we didn’t go home with a trophy this time (Bianca’s last Emmy and Emmy nominations were back in 2010 & 2011 - it’s been a minute!), it was an exhilarating night filled with fun, laughter and amazing connections with incredibly talented, soulful, beautiful people like @jeffrrieee @theoneandonlynaomimatsuda @amandakbrinkman @thegoodroad @counterspacekitchen.🙏😇💖🥰 Congrats to ALL of the winners and fellow nominees, including @beargryllis, who won our category! 🎉👊🏼☮️ Big thanks to the Academy and #NATAS, NETA, all of our friends and fans who watch the show on @pbs @create and @amazonprime, and to everyone who helped make this dreamy night a reality, including the innovative @nancyaartistry ‘s toxin-free makeup, gifted designer and vintage maven Shelley Clark @retrogirl51 who helped style us in vintage fashion, and sewed/created Bianca’s retro look by hand using an upcycled Indonesian temple fabric we sourced in Bali when shooting our last season (a nod to our indigenous communities). 🙌🏽 It was truly a magical moment that couldn’t have been possible without your love, support and the infinite wisdom and blessings of God & Gurus!
