Came to see this gentleman today for a check-up on the old back. He’s arguably one of America’s top docs for spine surgery. He’s put a lot of people back together including Mr. Sylvester Stallone. Picture reads: “To Todd, who got me back into fighting form” and “you’re not expendable” and to “keep punching.” The world is so small. Nearly 25 years ago Mr. Stallone signed my thesis during my exclusive, one-on-one interview with him and he wrote, “Keep punchin, Peña.” And here I am, strolling through the hallway doing just that. (As you can see by my scans, I’m held together by titanium and grace.) Anyway, been a while since I’ve posted, but I’m serving in obscurity as an estate manager. I’m a steward, a servant, a custodian, a caretaker of a fortune. And by the midnight oil of the servant’s hall, I’m writing a PrayFit book to help continue the cause of serving those impacted by special needs. Our mission hasn’t changed. Some people can’t move. Others can’t stop. (If it’s God’s will, it will be my finest work.)
