Balvin’s genre-bending has enabled him to collaborate with a huge variety of world-renowned artists, both Latin and English-speaking. Balvin attributes the new wave of Latinx artists, in part, to this increasing openness to blend styles and sounds: “I’m seeing a lot of crossover collaborations between artists of different genres. And I think that’s the key to making all music more universal.
