We don’t talk enough about the underrated blessing of introducing your parents to the “soft life”. My dad and his wife spent Christmas and New Year’s with us and we did everything! Attended Angel & Marcus’ Christmas party, they met thee Tabitha & Chance Brown, attended a Lakers game, they stayed in luxury, we spent New Year’s in Vegas (they’d never gone), we went to the The One- Michael Jackson Show, the Mad Apple Show (so much fun!), and we wined and dined them. They couldn’t stop thanking us for treating them so well! My parents made a lot of sacrifices for my sisters & I as kids to give us opportunities they didn’t have, and to be in a position to pay it forward is a blessing and a demonstration of gratitude that I’m so immensely proud of. It didn’t even take much, but they were so appreciative and so was I. 🥺
