Tiana Epps-Johnson, one of our 2018 #ObamaFellows believes that voting is one of the most tangible ways that each of us can shape our communities. That’s why she has spent the last decade advocating to improve the often complicated voting system in the U.S.—and to get every person to the polls. On the 57th anniversary of The Voting Rights Act of 1965—a landmark piece of federal legislation in the United States that prohibits racial discrimination in voting—we’re grateful for changemakers like Tiana who are committed to restoring trust in our democracy and making sure every American can make their voice heard.
