Happy Friday - Let’s Bake! 🍎🍯🍏 The Jewish High holidays are coming up! First up is Rosh Hashanah - the Jewish New Year. On Rosh Hashanah we make challah into a round shape, as opposed to a braided oval shape we do for Shabbat, to represent the cyclical nature of years. We also eat sweet foods, like apples dipped in honey, in hopes of having a sweet new year. This year I’m stuffing my round challah with apples cooked in butter, brown sugar and honey.
