As many of you know, I had the greatest opportunity to introduce my mom to the love her life. Eddie! The ultimate gentleman, born with divine responsibility. The teacher, the prophet, a man filled with humor and grace and an insane ability to make you feel safe and seen. I am so saddned to say, Eddie, affectionally nicknamed, Mister, has passed away. Anyone who knows Eddie knows the last three years of his life were filled with an unmeasurable amount of love. He would tell anyone who listened. As my mom always says “ it was already written” and I know that this love story, if only for a short while was written in the stars. Eddie left this earth experiencing the greatest love of all. As someone who has experienced it first hand the last 33 years, I know it to be true. I am eterntally grateful that these two met in this lifetime and time allowed them to experience a tremendously perfect love. Because of you, their engagement reel has gone viral. Millions have seen, shared and resposted it with encouraging words and their own testimonies and as her daughter, I am so happy that so many of you were able , even if in just a short reel, got to witness the joy Eddie bought to my mother. We appreciate everyone who has supported, cheered and rallied for them and I understand with kindness and ease you will continue. To Eddie, my mom’s greatest Love, we miss you and will honor you in the most STYLISH way possible. Thank you for loving my mother in ways she had never been loved, for reasons we will never be told, in ways she deserved. I know you and mommy will meet again and again, in different dreams and lifetimes and every time, I will walk up to you and introduce you to the most beautiful woman I know.
