My poem “JFK, Terminal 7” from 2021 is finally out in the world, courtesy of the Poetry Society of New York’s Milk Press. To be included in such esteemed company for my first published poem in a literary journal is not something I take lightly, thank you @poetrysocietyny for your recognition. I’ve read this journal for years and I feel so lucky to now be a part of it.
Some favorites from other poets in this issue: “I am not asleep” by Lindsay Rockwell, “How to start a fire” by Jaqi Holland @jaqi.holland, “Danez Smith’s ‘Don’t Call Us Dead’ is my favorite book of poetry” by John Gavin White @john.gavinwhite, and “Cicada season” by Grace McGovern @gracemcgovie. Thanks for bringing me along.
