💕Not sure if anyone will see this because it is not a reel, just a picture. Remember those? ⏰ Woke up at 7 am this morning, was in the park with Cacao early so we could play and enjoy some shade before it got too hot! 🚽 Got to the shop by 8 am so the plumber could come and fix the toilet (always blocked, old pipes drama) 🧁 The bakers arrived at 9 am but the toilet still needed some cleaning and shine after the very messy plumbers left it worst than what it was 😆 🍰 By 9.30 it was all back to normal, toilet working, air-con running and ovens on! 🎂 From 9.30 to 12.30 I finish decorating and giving the final touches to the cake orders and then check emails for any last minute orders enquiries. 🌸By 12.45 I was done and went to buy some flowers for a special cake order. ☀️ It was time to decide, should I go to Brighton for a swim or no? 💦 Hell yeah! By 1.30 pm I was in London Bridge ready to take the train! 🌊 Had the best 2 hours in the sunshine, a nice swim in the cold and salty water and ready to head back! 🚂 5.05 train Back to London, ready and energised to go back to the shop again and organise all the orders and cake deliveries for the weekend! 💕Did I feel guilty for taking some time off while the rest of the team stayed in? Yes! But not as much as before. We will all have time to enjoy the weather and our private lives outside work. Cause we do have lives outside of work right? 💜Do we need to earn or deserve rest and enjoyment? Or can we just take it was and when it comes as it is probably one of the best part of life? 💛How many points do we get when we do “the right thing” or when we “whatever we want”- while being responsible? ❤️Anyone else feels their worth is measured by how efficient, busy, stressed they are?
