Someone many years older than me told me in my early 20’s to “do what you love and the money will come.”
I didn’t listen. How could I? I had to pay my rent…
Someone else, again many years older than me, prayed over me and said to me THOSE EXACT SAME WORDS when I turned 26 (and in the same place financially, feeling like I was just floating around and existing)…
I still waited…
Now, I am 28, and this last year I finally allowed myself to just TRY it… to trust the Lord to provide for me as I leaned into my creativity and what I felt He made me for… and to push past all of the thoughts I had telling me “this wasn’t wisdom,” etc. etc…
A year later, I am more fulfilled, feel even more myself, and am, TO MY SHOCK, more financially stable than I have been in YEARS… I don’t even know how to explain it really… God just always provided and still is… and still does.
This next year is your time to lean into your call… to lean into what your heart burns for. Your dreams. Your art. Your music. Your business idea. To CREATE. To not give up after 3 months of it being hard — just because something’s hard and requires a lot of effort, doesn’t mean it’s wrong:) and don’t listen to the EVER present message on socials saying you should be able to get rich in 2 weeks… yes, sometimes that happens. But most often, real and true change takes time… allow yourself to grow and give yourself time. And celebrate every single win, no matter how big or small, along the way.
Always here if anyone wants to chat about their ideas or dreams 🤍✨
Love, Ari
