Let me show you how you can finally get rid of your bloating, gas, acid reflux, constipation/diarrhea, and food sensitivities for GOOD. I specialize in eliminating gut issues for my clients, and I’ll tell you right now that the diet is the HARDEST part for people to get right. And here’s why... If you are constantly getting bloated after meals, it means there’s likely some sort of overgrowth of bacteria in your gut that’s causing your problem. You usually hear people recommend to eat more fiber to heal your gut - but if you have an overgrowth, then this is actually going to make you feel WORSE! So because of this, we’re going to heal your gut in the same way as you would want to heal a sprained ankle. The first step, is we have to stop the intense exercise that keeps flaring the injury. This is where the Low FODMAP diet comes in. This is a diet we use to eliminate all of the foods that those bacteria in your gut like to feed on. This diet helps us to alleviate your symptoms & reduce inflammation - but we only want to do this for about 1-3 months while we work to bring down the bacterial overgrowth. The next step, is to start slowly rebuilding strength on that injured ankle so you can eventually get back to your regular routine. This is where we SLOWLY reintroduce specific prebiotic-rich foods that help to feed the good bacteria in your gut. The mistake most people make, is they want to go run a marathon on the first day that ankle starts feeling better. And as a result... they usually end up re-injuring it because they didn’t take time to rebuild that strength. When it comes to strengthening your gut, you have to take a gradual approach to reintroducing old trigger foods. This means introducing ONE food at a time, and sometimes even starting with 1/2 spoonful or less of that food and increasing the amount over a 2-4 week period. It’s a process that requires patience, but it flat out WORKS. And if you do this the right way, you’ll find that it is possible for you to get back to enjoying your life again without feeling totally restricted around food. Was this helpful??
