There is no better view in Vermont than a weathered barn against the white of a recent snow fall... ❄️ 💫 One of the things I love about selling homes in Vermont is the character and the quirks in homes and barns I come across, often dating to the 1800s and early 1900s. I frequently tell clients I wish the walls could talk to tell us the home’s story and give us a glimpse into how life once was and used to be within its walls. I love seeing glimpses of a home’s journey in its wall paper, the pencil sharpeners in the basement stairwell, the height charts on trim or the back of a door, old newspapers lining shelves and steps worn with years of footprints.
