On Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, the Space Launch System rocket launched from @NASAKennedy Space Center in Florida, carrying the Orion spacecraft into Earth’s orbit. Orion continued on a 25.5-day mission to orbit the Moon and return to Earth. The mission successfully tested the agency’s deep space exploration systems in preparation to fly future astronauts to the Moon.
