And here it is! 🎉🎉 Chicken Coop to Music Studio reveal! I’m super happy to be back working on music again, but i’ll miss a fun build project really soon im sure. Not sure what the next build will be but I’ve got the winter to plan my next move! BUT theres many exciting music projects over next 8 months that i need to shift my focus to. 🤗 I was gonna do a lil walk through of the more technical sides of build and setting up such a small studio but didn’t get around to it, but happy to do so if people are interested. One thing thats obvious to anyone that knows accoustics is the problem i’ve created for myself with the big windows, specially the one on the right side of my seating position. I have always prioritised ‘vibe’ and setting and nature over a perfect sounding room, even when mixing. I need to feel that im not trapped in cell when im working. To be able to sit here in the winter and watch the eagles on the frozen lake while i work will make my work 100 times better than having perfect frequensy respons at 100Hz. Saying that, the studio sound pretty good and a few years I made my best investment ever in music and got myself a Trinnov ST2 which takes care of the problems i do get in a situation like this. Like you’ve heard a million times, its not about the equipment you have but what you do with it. For me its more about not caring about the equipment i have but am i inspired in the environment im in when i create?
