Man, sometimes I really am at a loss for words when I think back about all of the things that we’ve been through. Never did I think that 12 years ago I would be meeting the man that would change my life forever, whom I would have unbelievable, unforgettable life experiences with, and who would not only make my life better, but also always strives to do the same with every other person he can. You truly are a special person, Derek- unlike anyone else that I have ever met. Your work ethic, vision, and the care you show others never cease to amaze me... And I feel so blessed to have spent those early days going to festivals together to now being able to perform at them with you. Happy birthday and love you, brother.
