As a lover of images, I rarely fall short of finding the right ones to communicate how I feel. Today though, even 10 slides aren’t enough! I want to say a BIG BIG thank you to everyone who showed up to the opening of my first solo exhibition, A Place of Ours. Not only did you show up, you opened your hearts to the work and story I was telling. Thank you! Your responses to it have been incredible,and I have been left overwhelmed and full of joy. Thank you to everyone who couldn’t make it and still messaged me or supported me in one way or the other. A very special thank you to Sydné @etherjournal and all her amazing efforts in helping me with the install process. To Prince @princeiive , Steve @sjwilliams_ and Karlo @karlointheends for going out of your way to help me out when time was critical. To all my new friends at OCAD, you have formed the artistic community I was so desperately seeking when I switched schools two years ago, I love you all 🤍. To Jasphine @yafavegirljas , who witnessed the entire evolution and growth of this project since 2019 and supported me the entire way ❤️. To my parents, who have made innumerable sacrifices for me to chase my dreams, I just want to make you proud ❤️.
