The feeling when you get a puncture and now you don’t have a spare tube with your. I started today easy ride knowing that I didn’t had my saddle bag with me since it was in a bag I didn’t have a chance to get to when they left me behind last Sunday. But what are the odds of a puncture on a 20 km ride? Pretty small so I happily set out to spin the legs. And now that it happened I had to do the math. I do about 20.000 training kilometers and let’s say on average 4 flats a year in training. That makes it a 1 in 250... but on the positive side I can say that I feel good again. And that is also why I was outside in the first place. I luckily never got really sick. So I expect to be back racing soon.
