If you are lucky (and surround yourself with great people), you just might go looking for one thing and come back with that and then some. Rivers was this kind of lucky this past week. We went to Houston to open an exhibition– ‘Troy Montes Michie: Rock of Eye’ – with our friends and partners at the Contemporary Art Museum Houston, and boy did we open an exhibition! :) And just before we left, we were sent home with archival treasures for our upcoming book and posthumous retrospective of artist Tina Girouard.
