I’ve been sitting on these photos for a few days. They took my breath away. Can I say that about myself? To see myself look this way was both giving and overwhelming. It is me. A bit of light and makeup and hair, but it’s me. I’ve spent a good deal of time behind characters, that never look this glamorous. I’ve always tried to put the truth of the characters at the forefront. Telling myself that is validation enough. But... If I could just look a bit more beautiful, be given a bit more space... Posting these pics make me uncomfortable but feels necessary. To shake off old thoughts of be humble, don’t be too much, stay small.. After a deep inhale and exhale I’m sharing..a little.
