a few highlights of 2023 🤗 1/ those brief few weeks when everything is green!! My favorite time of year every year 🌱 brought my latest & greatest estate sale quilt out for its first picnic 2/ Endless fishing days out on the boat - Springs and Summers always look like this now. Tough luck for me this year! Nolan caught most of the big ones. Bought sis @andiefitzgerald her very own fishin pole to match mine & brought her out on the boat - she brings twisted teas in her purse 🤗 3/ The tree house got some sweet secondhand additions this year! Finally some furniture to fill my big patio 🌻 A little wooden table & chairs picked up at the flea market, complete with a couple estate sale tablecloths. We still have to fight the meat bees everytime we eat outside in the summer but it’s worth the view ◡̈ My big beautiful wooden chest was an estate sale find that lives in the tree house now, filled with extra pillows & quilts & other secondhand treasures! 4/5 Nolan’s grandparents puppy was the highlight of my year!! I adore her with all of my heart. She wants to cuddle 24/7. I always tell Nol that she’s a girl after my own heart. 6/ Celebrated 4 sweet years with Nolan - we hiked up to the waterfall & tried to picnic on the rocks. But by July, the water was low & the rocks were crawling with spiders. I slipped on a rock while trying to take a polaroid of Nolan & ended up with the blackest bruise on my butt for weeks. It was still a perfect day ◡̈ We spent the rest of the day on the river 7/ Fishing at Grandma’s house in the spring 🌼 The daisies grow by the hundreds. Every year I take home bundles before they mow them down at the end of the season. i wait patiently for them to come back next year ☺️ 8/ went to my first music festival with sis @andiefitzgerald 🧚 the joys of sore feet & a full camera roll can’t be beat 9/ bopped around Big Sur with big sis. showed me all her favorite spots & drank ciders on the river 10/ We made a friend a few years back on Grandma & Grandpa’s lake. He gifts us fishing lures & lets us take out his boat whenever he’s not using it. When he is, we all fish together. Small town connections ◡̈
