In 2022, it was very hard for me to still understand why brands were all about diversity until it came to putting their actions where their mouth lies. 2022 made it seem like my voice and the content i made was neither valuable or worth the support and went as far as changing my instagram handle name to be more marketable. Food brands dont care about having diverse creators and continue to lowball black food bloggers. But brand partnerships do not define my worth and many of you see that.
